【New Product】Significantly Reduces EMI Noise! Development of a Spread Spectrum Type Crystal Oscillator

Kyushu Dentsu Co., Ltd. (KDK) has developed a new series of crystal oscillators with built-in spread spectrum functionality.
As electronic devices continue to become more sophisticated and compact, EMI noise suppression has become a major design challenge.
When EMI noise caused by clock signals becomes an issue, this innovative device slightly varies (modulates) the output frequency to disperse energy concentrated at specific frequencies over a wider bandwidth, thereby significantly reducing peak noise levels.

  • High EMI Noise Reduction Performance
    With a wide range of modulation settings, optimal EMI noise suppression can be achieved to meet various system requirements.
    Both Center Spread (±0.0625% to ±2.0%) and Down Spread (-0.25% to -2.0%) options are available for flexible selection.
  • Available in Various Package Sizes
    To support everything from the latest compact devices to general-purpose equipment, industry-standard package sizes are available in a broad lineup.

  • Excellent Operating Conditions and Reliability
    Ensures stable operation even in harsh environments such as industrial applications.
    ・Frequency Range: 0.25MHz to 160MHz
    ・Supply Voltage: +1.8V ±10% / +3.3V ±10% (+2.5V is also available)
    ・Operating Temperature: -40°C to +85°C (Support for environments up to +125°C available upon consultation)
